Bethany Lake Park

On July 31st, my mom and I took Mona for a walk at Bethany Lake Park, north of 26. It took some finding, but eventually I came across an access point in a neighborhood.

This is how we knew we were in the right place. :)

Ready for some walking!

A portion of the walk went along these powerlines. It also went through the Rock Creek Country Club golf course. We turned around so we wouldn't be hit by errant golf balls. They were all yellow!

We finally found the lake. Lots of water fowl -- you could do some great birdwatching from the porches of those houses across the lake.
