Back on Halloween, I headed over to the OES greenhouse to purchase a house plant. While I was waiting for the, er, greenhouse guy, I snapped some plant-inspired images.

I eventually did choose a plant to take home with me, although it was difficult -- so many possibilities! I wanted something super-tough, since I seem to have a history of forgetting to consistently care for my plants, and then they die. This is the type that was recommended to me. "Mother-in-law's tongue" in Britain, "Snake plant" here, and sansevieria trifasciata officially. I don't currently have any pictures of it, but it seems to be doing well by the grey light of the window.
