After we checked out of the hotel, we drove up to NW 21st and (after finding a parking spot) went to Ken's Artisan Bakery, a place I've been wanting to try ever since we moved up here!
The croissant certainly did not disappoint! Flaky and buttery... mmm....

The croque monsieur was a little odd -- I think they used some sort of goat cheese. But the bread sure was good.
