On Christmas Eve, David and I rushed around, wrapping presents and loading things into the car. It's so much more difficult to do when there's snow and ice on the ground! Normally, you don't have to think about where you put your foot down or how quickly you're walking.
We had decided to spend the night at my parents' so we would not have to brave the roads there and back and there again. On our way over, we stopped at a couple stores to pick up things for dinner and Christmas brunch. It took a couple hours to drive and shop our way to their place -- 15 minutes away. The roads were okay -- slushy, but passable. The real difficulty was the parking lots! Crazy!
That evening, while the sweet and sour meatballs were cooking (yum!), we took Mona out to play in the snow.

David and Mona.
Mona the blur, chasing snowballs.
My snowdog. Everyone thought it looked more like a cat.
