We had a very brief wait, which gave me time to snap this cool picture.
My burger, with the addition of pepper jack cheese and avocado. Yum.
We spent the rest of the day wandering the resort. The Venetian connects with the Palazzo, which makes for lots of space to explore. The Grand Canal Shoppes (yes, "shoppes") were nice to walk in, since smoking is only allowed in the casino areas.
Are you inside? Are you outside? It's hard to tell in Vegas! The Grand Canal area always feels like 7pm on a summer evening.
I don't know why it's here, but it is. This is near the food court, which we did not eat in.
St. Mark's Square. Like an Italian piazza, only cleaner and with much fewer pigeons.
We saw these women dressed like statues walking through the Palazzo...
We stuck around to watch for a while from an upper level. They were part of some "living garden" performance. The coolest part was when they touched the water in the fountain, and then water began spouting out of their fingertips.
More Chinese New Year decorations? The Year of the Ox.
The living statues ascending the elevator, flanked by their "protectors." The fountain below was where they were performing.
Wouldn't it be cool to be a Las Vegas decorator? Think of all the possibilities and resources available to you!
Looking down the stairwell near our room. No David, we can not take the stairs this time.
It was a foggy day. The Strip is more impressive at night, when it's all lit up.
