Thai Elephant

On October 20, David and I went to the Streets of Tanasbourne out in Hillsboro to get him a jacket at REI. (We succeeded! This is the coat he got, if you're curious.)

Afterwards, we went to Thai Elephant for dinner. It was very good!

Ambiance.

8. PURSE OF GOLD (7)
Specially prepared shrimp and crab meat wrapped in a thin pastry sheet and crispy fried. Served with sweet plum sauce.

2. FAVORITE CHOICE SATAY (5)
This street food favorite features marinated chicken or beef flamed-grilled on bamboo skewers, served with our special peanut sauce and cucumber salad.

We also got:
16. PAD KEE MAO
These wok- fried broad noodles with Thai basil, tomatoes, egg, cabbage and bell pepper were created by an accidental blending in a drunken chefs kitchen.

I got to have the leftovers for lunch later that week. :)
