30th - Part 2: Andina

For me, celebrations are intertwined with good food. Accordingly, on Saturday, 8/30, we all headed to the Pearl district for lunch at Andina. I have a special section in my little notebook I keep in my purse where I write down the dishes we try each time we go. :) Everything has been great so far. And the food is so beautifully presented that I love taking pictures of it.

Mixta Nikkei -- tuna, crab, and shrimp on top of mashed potatoes.

After lunch, we walked a few blocks for a visit to Powell's (food for the mind) and I got two of our three out of town guests to buy The Eyre Affair. I hope they're enjoying it!
