On Saturday, September 7, nearly one week after our first visit to Piazza Italia, I finagled another meal there, this time with my parents.
Rigatoni bolognese. Oh. My. God. So good. Mmmm.
Jamison Square fountain. This was so neat. Water would cascade over those square rocks, filling a shallow indentation in the plaza. Kids and adults both were enjoying splashing around in the puddle -- some of the kids were soaked. The cascade periodically stopped or widened -- I wasn't able to figure out the pattern. What a nice neighborhood feature -- a place to cool your feet on a hot day.
