Accordion music and pasta

On Sunday, December 7, after the Ale Fest, we wandered around the Pearl District, visiting Powell's, of course. We stopped by Piazza Italia and they were able to squeeze us in, provided we were out of there by 7pm. Popular place! What we didn't realize was that they were having live accordion music and singing that night. We survived. :)

David's spaghetti and meatballs.

Teresa's spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce.

My bucatini all'amatriciana. I've been searching for a good version of this dish in the US. This was pretty good, although not quite as wonderful as the times I've had it in Rome.
