Last Monday (12/15) it was cold but clear. School was canceled due to the icy roads. We went for a walk to soak up the sunshine and see what the neighborhood looked like covered in snow.
The road was pretty slippery, covered in ice.

It was fun to be able to see shadows again. I'm finding that here in Oregon, I feel compelled to be outdoors on sunny days. That sunshine really is like gold. You want to savor it.

It is so funny reading this backward! I lol at your snow experiences, finding them very similar to mine during my first snowy Seattle winter.
