On Tuesday (12/16), schools were closed yet again due to icy conditions. We stayed at home most of the day and waited for our first grocery delivery from New Seasons. It was lots of fun to go through their website and order things. :) The only substitutions they had to make were 2% lactose-free milk instead of fat-free, and ground turkey instead of ground beef. We also got a free "first-timer" gift: strawberry ice cream! (The ice cream was good, but wouldn't hot cocoa have been more fitting?)
The main roads were pretty clear by the afternoon, so we went out to buy chains for our cars.
