It was such an exciting relief to get safely home!

David was especially relieved.

Look! We're in the snow!

My UGGs kept my feet nice and warm. Yes, I carry a lot with me to these cohort weekends: My satchel of books, journal, binder; my bag of knitting and snacks; my purse; and my art bin with pencils, pens, etc.

For some reason we decided that we really wanted hot dogs for lunch and we wanted to see what it was like outside. So we bundled up and walked to the new 7-11 on the corner. The most difficult part of the walk was that brutal east wind.

David looks like he should be warm.

These two ducks seem unconcerned that their creek is extra cold.

Do you see that guy? Yeah, the one out in shorts, a t-shirt, and flip-flops. What's the deal with him?
