Chocolate chip cookies!

Thursday evening, we got domestic again. We cooked chili for dinner. The ground turkey was still frozen, but we managed to chop it up small enough to cook. It was tasty, although I definitely prefer ground beef chili.

After dinner, we decided to bake chocolate chip cookies! We used the Joy of Cooking recipe, changing the sugar amounts to 1/3 cup for each white and brown. We also baked them a little longer, maybe 12-13 minutes.

David is pleased with our first dozen.

Mmmm, cookie goodness.

Roberta and me, checking if the cookies stuck. (They didn't.)

I had a staring contest with Roberta, to see who would break down and eat a cookie first. I lost. Or won, depending on how you look at it.
