First, we drove to NE Alberta Street to pick up Teresa's friend Peggy, who was also in town and interested in the event. She had her monkey pal Winston with her.
Roberta, Seymour, and Winston at the Random Order coffeehouse.
We all drove out to the sale, which was at an Inn in Scappoose, north of Portland.
Roberta in my lap and Peggy winding one of her purchases.
Teresa working on one of Roberta's friends.
Roberta in front of lots of yummy yarn.
Teresa was a minor celebrity here. (At this point, she had knit 21 sock monkeys based on the pattern created by that woman in the center of the frame.)
Peggy and I were amused to see Winston's attempts to interest Roberta.
A car seen in the parking lot.
The entrance to the Scappoose Inn.
Scappoose junkyard.
View along the drive back to Portland.
St. John's Bridge.
And in case you'd like to see the purchases from that excursion:
Enough for a Clapotis scarf, 5 pairs of socks, and another scarf or two.
